K. Alicia Wood grew up in the deep South on a farm outside Quitman, Georgia. She lived with her three sisters, her brother, an FBI informant father, she did not see eye to eye with, a wealthy mother she could not relate to, their maid, two chimpanzees, and a way of life she both loved and longed to escape. She lived with her three sisters, her brother, an FBI informant father, she did not see eye to eye with, a wealthy mother she could not relate to, their maid, two chimpanzees, and a way of life she both loved and longed to escape. Her unique experiences gave rise to fierce passions and talent for story-telling, and the ability to recognize her shortcomings gave her a sense of humor.

As a writer, her work has been applauded by creative writing professors at Weber State University and The North Ogden Writer’s Group. She has received many five-star ratings for several of her works published on FanStory as well as honored recognition by writer’s and critics.
